Structural Narrative Similarities of On the Road and Gilmore Girls
In this paper we were asked to examine the two works the course was created around, On the Road by Jack Kerouac and Gilmore Girls by Amy Sherman Palladino. My analysis of these revolutionary media pieces centers around their similarities of unresolved endings created through the use of imperfect characters, character-driven narrative development, and the power of transience.
