Bringing Communications Creativity to Makerspace
This section highlights my work with the TRU Library Makerspace, where I combined communication, design, and technology to enhance the user experience and promote the space.
- Website Design: Designed and developed the Makerspace website, including mobile-first designs for over 30 pages. I created a site map, branding guidelines, wireframes, and wrote original copy for pages while incorporating Secwepemctsin words for an Indigenous focus.
- Media Guide: Authored a comprehensive media strategy and guide to optimize the Makerspace’s communication and outreach efforts.
- Blog Contributions: Wrote articles on topics such as the Makerspace Ambassador Program, staff updates, and Makerspace grants to showcase its activities and impact.
